Manager Production Planning / Master Planner

Function

As a Manager Production Planning / Master Planner you coordinate all planning activities at the Putte site in collaboration with all other Crosby Europe manufacturing sites from sales forecasting to production completion aligned to the Groups’ KPI objectives. You take the lead in the improvement of planning processes, product flow and value stream between the Crosby Europe sites. You manage the local planning team (two operational planners).

  • Manage on a daily base all activities in the planning department, a.o. planning from sales forecasting to product delivery availability, material and production capacity availability, contacts with suppliers, procurement of materials, maintenance of related master data in ERP system, etc.;
  • Monitor & report production planning performance i.e. on time delivery reliability, customer lead time, supplier delivery reliability, inventory turns, department cost, etc.;
  • Define, initiate and implement continuous improvement activities;
  • Coach and evaluate individual employee performance;
  • Maintain and document related planning & procurement policies and processes;
  • Propose and control OPEX and CAPEX related budgets;
  • Ensure the level of competence of the organization through appropriate training and qualification.
Skills and Qualifications
  • The Manager Production Planning / Master Planner ideally has a Master level (logistics, supply chain management, business administration, business engineering, applied economics);
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a multistep manufacturing environment;
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain and production planning;
  • Excellent communicator able to build solid relationships with different internal and external contacts;
  • Result oriented;
  • Negotiation and people skills;
  • Great analytical skills;
  • IT knowledge: MS Office, ERP systems;
  • Understanding of S&OP processes;
  • English / Dutch / French;
