They are looking for a “Customer Service Representative & Inside Sales”. The Customer Service Representative & Inside Sales is the first internal contact for the Crosby distributors and end-users (business-to-business). He/she will manage all product related and commercial enquiries, orders and other requests.

You have a lead-by-example role in bringing commercial / sales mindset in the team. Your expertise and valuable input will be key to support the organization in building a state-of-the-art “Customer Experience” level that will exceed the customer expectations when working with Crosby.

You have a drive to really get to know the products and their applications. You will obtain satisfaction in developing yourself towards a Crosby product specialist who is able to contribute to the sales development / product marketing of the Crosby product portfolio.

Some specific job tasks as an Customer Service Representative & Inside Sales:

  • Maintaining good daily contacts with distributors/customers;
  • Working with distributors to find out what they want, looking for quality solutions and ensuring a smooth sales process;
  • Making sure all new orders have been booked and price enquiries have been quoted timely;
  • The freedom to take commercial decisions within pre-determined scope;
  • Collaborating with the technical support engineers in creating high-quality quotations, supported by the required technical data;
  • Working closely together with internal stakeholders, i.e. External Sales, Logistics, Product Management, Engineering, Finance (these colleagues are based in Europa and in the USA);
  • Taking ownership of customer issues reported; open-order books, delivery delays, pending quotations and technical or quality related issues.
Skills and Qualifications

  • The Customer Service Representative & Inside Sales has a bachelor degree or equivalent by experience;
  • Customer-oriented and very good communication skills;
  • Assertive, sales driven and result-oriented;
  • Three years of experience in a similar function;
  • Fluent in English and knowledge of two other European languages; knowledge of Spanish or German is a plus;
  • Flexible, pro-active mindset;
  • Structured way of work; good planning and follow-up.
