As a European Quality Assurance Responsible you’re based at the European Headquarters of our client in the Antwerpen / Kempen region. You have important responsibilities on a European level in driving the quality management process at different production/manufacturing facilities. You do not have direct reports but you do motivate and follow up on the local quality teams. You work closely with the Operations Director and report directly to him. From time to time you travel to the other European sites (France, UK, Belgium, Netherlands). You work in an inspiring business environment where you have ample opportunities to leave your mark.

• Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) by editing, reviewing and updating the organization’s QMS.
• Act as the single point of contact internally and externally for the resolution of quality assurance issues.
• Be the focal point of Quality on issues regarding Non-Conformities and RMAs.
• Lead the yearly management reviews.
• Work on the alignment of the QMS of all Europe production sites.
• Be the owner of the certification process.
• Follow up and perform in collaboration with external parties the type test qualifications and qualification renewals.
• Ensure compliance with the organization’s QMS by means of frequent audits.
• Ensure that the quality message is transmitted to and understood by everyone in the organization.
• Maintain the organization’s quality records.
• Assist with and advising on the preparation of the organization’s procedures.
• Make suggestions for changes and improvements internally and externally and how to implement them. Initiate corrective actions.

• The Quality Assurance Responsible preferably has a technical Master / University level.
• Excellent communicator able to build solid relationships with different internal and external contacts.
• Result oriented.
• Great analytical skills.
• IT knowledge: MS Office.
• Preferably 3+ years of relevant experience;
• English / Dutch / French;
