Maximo Client Support:

  • Assist in the preparation, implementation and standardization of Maximo in alignment with UK, EU & USA.
  • Provide support and training to plant clients, utilizing the Maximo Best Practices.
  • Instruct plants to initiate and update each plant’s Numerical Criticality Ranking for Equipment and Spare Parts.
  • Help plants to standardize the Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) task format to align with failure modes of FMECA, transitioning to condition-based inspections while aligning Maximo resource requirements to plant resource availability.
  • Develop and network PM’s and PdM’s from multiple plants to continuously improve EHS, Reliability, quality, production efficiency, labor/material effectiveness… to optimize critical asset Total Life Cycle Costs.
  • Assist plants to pare down on low critical ranked asset PM’s and to focus on building effective PM’s for “highly critical” assets, aligning PM’s and PdM inspections with asset Failure Modes developed from FMECA’s.
  • Lead Co-Op Students to update plant drawings.
  • Apply best practices and lessons learned from previous Start-Ups and Maximo Go-Lives of other plants to continuously improve the Maximo and Advanced Planning/Scheduling preparation of new green field sites and existing plants.

Root Cause Analysis and FMECA/RCM Support:

  • Lead training to utilize the Maximo Workflow process, 5-Why RCA’s and Troubleshooting as a part of keeping the Mechanical, Electrical and Process FMECA/RCM alive, minimizing highest Pareto valued production losses.
  • Contribute to the weekly Global Reliability Meetings, and keep up to date with reliability knowledge, techniques and methodologies through training, webinars, magazines…
  • Lead initiatives for surveys and benchmarking as part of Annual Reliability Assessments.
  • Utilize production loss and maintenance cost data to lead Problem Solving teams prioritized to generate the greatest value returns for the IKO plants.
  • Establish strong relationships with the Maintenance/Operations and IT employees to build the necessary disciplines for highly effective and efficient Predictive Maintenance and Shutdown PM plans.
  • Prepare, organize and facilitate production line FMECA/RCM, after detailed Pareto analysis of production losses associated with critical assets, for use in PM Optimization and corresponding Spare Parts strategy.
