Function

As a Key Account Manager – OEM Business, you are the primary contact at Dovre for their mid-size to corporate international OEM clients. Your main goal is to increase sales through a strategic and proactive approach of your clients’ portfolio. You report to the Sales Manager who is in charge of all Dovre business lines.

More specifically:

  • You detect and develop new opportunities through an in-depth knowledge of your clients’ business needs;
  • You always ensure the best balance between the client’s and Dovre’s interests (every project must be a “win-win”);
  • You close deals at a steady pace;
  • You coordinate the work of Dovre’s internal stakeholders (pre-sales, technical, production, quality, supply chain…) to reach your goal and ensure client satisfaction;
  • You provide constructive feedback to Dovre and actively participate to internal transformations aimed at improving service levels.

Our Client: Company Profile

Our client DOVRE NV, based in Weelde (near Turnhout, Belgium), develops and produces high quality cast iron wood-gas Stoves and Fireplaces. The sister brand FERLEON focuses on high-end cast iron gas barbecues and cookware.

The factories in Belgium and Poland offer a flexible production system and also produce a variety of cast iron parts and assemblies for different Original Equipment Manufacturers, e.g. producers of industrial machines, home appliances, stoves, cookware… To support the development of this rapidly expanding business line, Dovre is looking for a Key Account Manager – Industrial OEM Clients.

Skills and Qualifications

  • The Key Account Manager holds a bachelor’s or a master’s degree (industrial engineering, commercial sciences,…);
  • Several years of experience, preferably in an industrial/OEM environment;
  • You display very good non-hierarchical leadership skills;
  • “Client satisfaction” and “sense of urgency” are your guiding principles;
  • You work in an organized way to handle multiple projects at the same time;
  • You have excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • You are a pragmatic and stress-resistant “problem solver”;
  • You speak Dutch, English and German  – French is an important asset.
