Our client based near Turnhout, develops and produces high quality products. They are looking for a Quality Systems Manager. The factory has a flexible production system and also produces a variety of parts and assemblies for various OEM’s.

Our client is an internationally renowned brand and is recognized for its quality, solidity, robustness and innovation in their field, with highly efficient, environment friendly engineered products for the demanding end user / market.

Industrial quality assurance affinity required // Top down, helicopter view leader with strong organizational skills // Drive the implementation of quality culture, systems and processes and build bridges between sales, product management, R&D & production // Interaction with industrial OEM clients // Occasional travel to Poland required


In addition to the manufacturing of proprietary products, a growing number of global OEM’s in various industries rely on our client for the production of high quality parts and assemblies. Our client wants to strengthen its Quality Department to stay on top of increasing internal and customer demands regarding quality management.

  • You initiate, implement and secure changes in various business processes: in this way you contribute to a better working, more efficient organization.
  • You ensure the adoption of best practices throughout the organization.
  • You play a key role in developing and elaborating the Quality Management System and ensuring ISO certification in the medium term.
  • You lead and direct the Quality team in Belgium and you indirectly manage the experienced team in Poland.
  • You’re the point of contact for important – new and existing – industrial clients regarding quality related matters.
  • You’re involved from a very early stage in new customer projects.
  • You translate specific client demands to the internal organization. You ensure that products meet the set quality requirements.
  • You interact with clients regarding quality issues.
  • You lead or direct 8D structured problem solving to deal with (recurring) internal or external quality problems.
  • You coordinate customer audits.
Skills and Qualifications

  • Master or equivalent through relevant experience;
  • Industrial/manufacturing quality assurance track record;
  • Able to see the big picture, with good insights in systems, structures and business processes. Helicopter view and natural leader.
  • Excellent communicator able to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders: clients as wel as different internal departments;
  • Project management skills: ability to prioritize, organize and lead multiple projects across departments;
  • Pro-active, hands-on mindset;
  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English.
