Mechanical Engineer / R&D / Machine Building

The Research & Development team consists of 15 people, including mechanical, software, process and materials engineers/scientists. The purpose of this role is to ensure optimal technical interaction between the various disciplines, to further develop and optimize existing machines ánd to design the next generation of machinery.

• Design, plan, organize, execute and coordinate R&D projects;
• You work on solving complex problems, thereby having direct impact on the success of products and technologies;
• You build test setups and design custom equipment;
• You define and write machine requirements;
• You support R&D colleagues and the Technical Service department;
• You ensure up-to-date technical documentation w.r.t. machines;
• You report to the R&D Manager.

• Master’s degree in engineering, preferably in electromechanics, mechatronics;
• You have several years of experience in the design and improvement of complex machines;
• You’re creative as well as pragmatic and results-oriented;
• You possess an agile mindset;
• You’re used to taking on responsibility;
• 3D CAD skills;
• Fluent in English.
